Mary: The Sci-Fi Space Escape Room
Ready to blast off into the future? Board a stranded starship in Mary, the most immersive sci-fi escape room Derby has to offer, and secure the cosmic fuel we need to save time travel.
The Mission: The Great Galactic Crystal Shortage
Our time engine runs entirely on glowing Miltron crystals, which we’ve always sourced from an aging mining spaceship in the deep future. Our payment of choice? A few standard bars of chocolate. It was a flawless business model—until the crystals suddenly stopped arriving and the ship went completely dead silent.
The time portal is still holding open, so we need a crew to teleport onto the starship, figure out why the supply line collapsed, and bring back enough crystals to keep our facility running. It should be a standard salvage operation. Just don’t push any buttons you aren’t supposed to.
Mission Intel: Cosmic Dread & High-Tech Puzzles
Expect a heavy dose of futuristic atmosphere and a creeping sense of sci-fi dread as you explore the starship. The onboard security system is notoriously glitchy, and you will definitely feel the tension mount as you realize something is tracking your every move through the metallic corridors.
Expect a brilliant, immersive space atmosphere as you explore the aging starship. You’ll definitely feel the excitement build as your team tries to bypass the ship’s glitchy security system, but don’t worry—the game is completely family-friendly with nothing too scary. There are zero horror elements or jump-scares here, just fantastic sci-fi puzzle-solving.
Accessibility Note: Space travel can get a bit tight! Entering and exiting the first room requires everyone on your team to crawl through a reasonably generous, 3-meter-long tunnel. If your crew is happy to handle a quick crawl, you’re officially cleared for launch!

Visited with teenage son and his friend and managed to escape from Alan. Fantastic escape room. Many thanks to Harry and the team for making the visit thoroughly enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

We played Edith and absolutely loved it!
The room was dark, creepy and some jumps from the live actor in the room. We emersed ourselves into the theme and had fun while being scared.
The puzzles were interesting and some were skill based which can be time wasting if you're bad at them but we did alright and carried on in the room as the atmosphere because more scary
Jay our room runner was absolutely fantastic, had us laughing from start to end and ran the game brilliantly. I didn't think I'd be so scared but I was screaming and on edge most of the game. Thank you for the great time and will be coming back to play more of the rooms
